A graduate of the Department of English and American Studies of Sofia University (MA Hons, 1997), I have worked in various administrative and marketing roles for the Bulgarian Air Traffic Control Authority (BULATSA), Education for Change (UK), the Bulgarian National Audit Office and the British Council (Bulgaria).
In 2005, I embraced the challenge of full-time freelancing, which led to the registration, in 2008, of Intercultural Language Solutions, a language services provider for Bulgarian, English, French and German.
Quality: I will go the extra mile to meet clients’ requirements. But I will not compromise quality and consistency by splitting large-volume translations between freelancers to stay on top of unreasonable deadlines.
Rates: I am flexible and will do my best to meet your budget, but I charge market rates for professional services that satisfy the highest industry standards.
Deadlines: I understand urgency and the need for rapid delivery. However, a good translation may — and often does — require time-consuming research and meticulous attention to detail. I compete on quality, not cheapness or the speed afforded by copying and pasting text in Google Translate.
Confidentiality: I will never disclose, sell or otherwise make public or known any details of the work I carry out for clients.
